About Us

Department offers Master of Science and Philosophy of Doctorate degrees in physical education and sport. Exercise physiology, learning and teaching in physical education and sports (motor learning, curriculum and instruction), sports management and sports psychology are the specialization areas of the faculty.
 

Department also offers elective courses to the students from other departments to broaden their knowledge and understanding of sports sciences in general.

3^rd National Congress of Football and Science will be  held in Antalya, Turkey on 9-11 January 2009 with the contribution of Middle East Technical University,Ankara University and Turkish Football Federation. "6th World Congress on Science and Football" was held in Antalya, Turkey on 15-20 January 2007 with the contribution of Middle East Technical University and Ankara University. (www.wcsf2007.org)

The ECSS Executive Board has decided on the host for the Congress 2010. Middle East Technical University will host the 15^th annual Congress in Antalya, Turkey with partnership of Turkish sport science community (www.ecss-congress.eu).
